Having a conversation with the girls I work with tonight reminded me of the amazing street art I've seen since I've been here!
Being from Bristol, UK I have been surrounded by it all my life. The most famous is obviously Banksy. It's everywhere in Bristol, and I've even seen similar stuff here in Australia.

I would love to do some designing based around street art! I now have plenty of photograph inspiration!! The colours and shading are amazing.

This was on a road just off the main road George Street in the central area of the city. It was so beautiful and such a contrast to the rest of the city. It's an installation called "forgotten songs" and its to symbolise the birds that inhabited this land before the city was built. The sounds of these birds is also played down this street. It has such a different feel to the city, and I LOVE birdcages! They can be really cute to play with while drawing and designed textiles and art!

I'm starting yet another Blog...but hopefully this one will stick!! I have been traveling Australia for the last 4 months now and I have seen so many amazing things, and I want somewhere to keep track of them!
This will be an eclectic collection of everything I think about and see, here in Australia, from the internet, Friends and pretty much everything that catches my eye! I just hope somebody enjoys it all too!!
